The four year old mare by Chapel Royal out of the Kissin Kris mare Embracing Krissy has increased her lifetime earnings to $301,201 by winning the Grade 3 Ttukseom Cup at Seoul.
After being sent off at 17 to 1 odds, Royale Embrace gained an early lead in the seven furlong Stakes and refused to let it go. This race is the first of the three-race “Queens Tour” series for the country’s top fillies and mares.
This marks the 6th win for Royale Embrace in 15 starts, with 3 seconds and a third.
Royale Embrace was sold to the KRA from the 2010 OBS April Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training from the consignment of Whitman Sales.
