Owner and Breeder, Lamont H Nienast’s Dolly Peach, scored a big win in the Pretty Jenny Stakes on Saturday at Hawthorne. The three year old dark bay filly by Chapel Royal paid $104 in her impressive win over six rivals. Dolly Peach was ridden by Rosemary Homeister Jr. and trained by Percy Scherbenske

Winning trainer Percy Scherbenske, is quoted after the win as saying “She ran a big race. The race set up just the way we hoped that it would, where we could lay off the speed and hoped that the speed backed up. That’s just what it did. She’s a nice filly. She tries really hard every time. We’re really proud of her.”

The $67,065 Dolly Peach earned for this victory boosted her career earnings to $102,995.
